thumbs up for the fabulous dough art.
I never thought dough can be a lot more than breads!
Thanks life ramblings!
wow, with so much details, i wonder how long did it take her to finish the whole thing! :D
Wow...another amazing creation!
I wonder if she put some yeast in it, will definitely puff up if it is baked.
I have no Idea Levian, only thing for sure is that kind of work can't be done with so little time.
Mei, this is truly amazing. How can others be soooooo creative!?
I don't think she put yeast because it will make it puff like you said Ai. I'm thinking this is a salt dough art. I have gathered a lot of those and will soon post. I have learned that baked salt dough lasts really long like a year or more depending on how it's treated.
BTW Ai, Mei & Levian, I'll see which among 4 designs get the highest vote. The girls have different opinions, care to check?http://jifphotojournal.blogspot.com/2009/04/cutie-baby.html
Wow, this is amazing.
Such a great work!
head over n back! :) i was wondering won't the dough go bad after some times? i am starting to imagine more n more possibilities. :p
If it's made of salt dough, it can last quite long about 1yr or 1yr and a half (based on salt dough craft book that I read) because it will be baked later on. They can also paint the baked design. =D
you are one big fan of cake/bread making, aren't you? you knew a lot about them. :D
I wanted to explore salt dough art for business that's why I knew just a few facts about it. =D
wow, you are planning on doing these sculptures too? or have you already started? you sure have a unique sense for artistic! :D
Not as grand as the pope Levian! Only eyeing on ornamental designs. I haven't started, I need to check out more researches before that also, i have other crafts to do in mind. So many things, I don't know which goes first!
are you planning to achieve the arts you posted in this blog? is that why you are so interested in them? i'm getting excited imagining you doing them. :D
Maybe not exactly like this. I explore more on cooking. I find these arts so interesting and marvelous and I can't help but to share them with everybody. Sometimes I play with dough making forms but it doesn't qualify to be posted here just yet. haha
i'm sure we would be more interested than to judge you. i haven't come across anyone who tried these art out yet. :)
