Wow! I love the roses craving in the fruit. Oh by the way, it looks like a Winter Melon to me though..I am amazed! Wow!

Ayie,I believe it is a winter melon. It tastes sweet and light when it is cooked (usually in soup). Amazingly detailed carving.

Mei, 2 girls said it looks like melon...actually the 3 of you =) I had a visual of melon always oblong in shape that's why I thought of papaya all of a sudden =PYes, red strings are so chinese in design =)
