Wow! this is nice.. but somehow it is stuck in my head.. cakes should be sweet lol.
wow, that's so eye-catching. i agree with u. the lovely cake with an array of sushi and sashimi are ideal for all sushi lovers.
Wow that is unique.
Ladyviral, thanks for being here. Are you enjoying here so far?Traditionally speaking cakes=sweets. Nowadays people are to bizarre with foods. I'd still prefer my cake to be sweet or something fit as a dessert but I want to give high credits to this sashimi cake tower becuase it's one of a kind and it has proven that cakes aren't just sweet. =D
Hi Ramblings! I wanted to reply earlier but I was getting ready for a lunch out with the office ladies. How's your friday night so far? Will you give this cake a try for any occasion?
Anne, I agree...very unique! It's amazing how they came up with this. They must be really sushi lovers.
I love sushi. Even better sashimi on sushi rice. That's the dish I always go for if I'm having rice with something in a japanese restaurant. My other fav is bento with lots of variety.
Ayie, feel free to visit my blog at your convenience. no obligation. :)I've always like Fridays, my favourite day of the week. A fabulous time when I can relax after a full-work week, hanging out or simply having fun awaiting the weekend.although the cake looks interesting, it has not crossed my mind to make one. not everyone is enthusiastic about raw fish.hope you've a fabulous weekend.
wow this is really nice!very creative! =D
I would love this as as sushi and sashimi are my fav food! :)
wow! i wanna sink my teeth into them!oh gosh, those juicy meats too best a treat. :Dthe "cake" would cost a lot i presume. i wonder what was in there.cake?
Hi guys, I'm back from a long weekend! =)
Ai, I'm not much into sashimi but I eat once in a while. I love bento, I can't resist that one.
Ramblings! I wanted to blog chat with you that time I saw you commenting but I was rushing, that's why. It's rare that I get to catch you guys the same time.We had a busy weekend but fun. I'm actually gonna blog about it later. =)
Kenwooi, glad to have you here. I agree, that's a nice looking sashimi cake. Do you like to eat sushis and sashimis?
Mei, would you like to have this for your wedding (sashimi) cake? =P Oh, maybe not...i just remember now that you love desserts.
Levian, I have no idea what's in there. I think it's all block layers topped by the meats. It's not good to overstack fishes coz the one inside will be bad most esp if the temp is warm.
hmmm, it's very creative but really it doesn't look any appetising to me :p
did you have a great weekend?we wanna hear all about it! :Di can't imagine all the inside being all meaty either. you're right, it will definitely go bad if stacked. i don't mind having it stacked in my mouth though. :p
SK, you don't like sushis& sashimis? I'm not too fond of it either but I love this creation. =)
Levian, I had a fun weekend. We were invited to go to a greek festival, the food and show were great! Sunday we went to mass and watched terminator and just ate dinner in taco bell. This weekend will be a tiring one!
this weekend? you already have events planned for it?did you captured anything for the greek festival?opps, too much questions, :pbut i am interested in the festival itself. all the statues can't help coming into my head. :D
I'm an early planner Levian, I tend to organize my week ahead. It's good and bad too, sometimes spontaneous things are better.I'm about to post the greek festival weekend been working on it these past days, I needed to research photos coz I was lazy to bring the camera. hehe
ah, i thought you took some of the photographs! n i was imagining you signally her to look at you. XDi feel being a planner is good too, there are often things that i left out for being spontaneous. :p
some thing work better unplanned, no doubt about that
