Sushi / Sashimi Wedding Cake

Any Japanese couple will love this very unique cake. I can't believe that this is actually a sashimi / sushi cake. This proves that cakes are not supposed to be always sweet! To all sushi lovers out there, here's a special treat for you.

  3. Ladyviral, thanks for being here. Are you enjoying here so far?

Traditionally speaking cakes=sweets. Nowadays people are to bizarre with foods. I'd still prefer my cake to be sweet or something fit as a dessert but I want to give high credits to this sashimi cake tower becuase it's one of a kind and it has proven that cakes aren't just sweet. =D

  6. I love sushi. Even better sashimi on sushi rice. That's the dish I always go for if I'm having rice with something in a japanese restaurant. My other fav is bento with lots of variety.

  7. Ayie,
feel free to visit my blog at your convenience. no obligation. :)

I've always like Fridays, my favourite day of the week. A fabulous time when I can relax after a full-work week, hanging out or simply having fun awaiting the weekend.

although the cake looks interesting, it has not crossed my mind to make one. not everyone is enthusiastic about raw fish.

    hope you've a fabulous weekend.

  16. Levian, I have no idea what's in there. I think it's all block layers topped by the meats. It's not good to overstack fishes coz the one inside will be bad most esp if the temp is warm.

  17. hmmm, it's very creative but really it doesn't look any appetising to me :p

  18. did you have a great weekend?
we wanna hear all about it! :D
i can't imagine all the inside being all meaty either.
you're right, it will definitely go bad if stacked.
i don't mind having it stacked in my mouth though. :p

  20. Levian, I had a fun weekend. We were invited to go to a greek festival, the food and show were great! Sunday we went to mass and watched terminator and just ate dinner in taco bell. This weekend will be a tiring one!

  22. I'm an early planner Levian, I tend to organize my week ahead. It's good and bad too, sometimes spontaneous things are better.

I'm about to post the greek festival weekend been working on it these past days, I needed to research photos coz I was lazy to bring the camera. hehe
